Short ride
You get buckled into our dog cart as we hook up the team then we take off through the Omeo Caravan Park for a quick but exciting ride, along the way you will learn a bit about the team running with you, what their jobs are and a bit about the equipment and tradition of the sport. We then end the tour by walking up the team and meeting each sled dog.
Tour running from March to the end of October not operating while snow tours are running.
About 15 minutes in total.

Splitters 3 km tour
We head into the bush it is a 15 km drive from Omeo to where we start.
You then get buckled into our dog cart as we hook up the team, then we take off on a 3km tour taking in breath taking views looking at the snow caped mountains in the distance, we talk about the team and their jobs along the way. Ounce we return we then meet the team up close.

Vic River 3 km tour
This tour is on Victoria river track it is in between Omeo and Dinner Plain.
You get buckled into our dog cart as we hook up the team, then we take off on a 3km tour getting a sprint up in some spots we run from part the way down the track to the river where we then talk about the team and there jobs and the way the dog cart works. We then head off and anyone feeling up to it can then have a shot driving the team.

Snow tour
Snow Tours are run by Australian Sled Dog Tours and are dependent on good snow cover around Dinner Plain.
You climb in the sled while we hook up the team, then we take off on a ride for around 2 km you learn about the team you have running with you, what there jobs are and a bit about the equipment and tradition of the sport. On the last leg of our ride for adults that are feeling keen we offer a go on the back of the sled to get a feel for how to run a team of sled dogs.
Tour running from June to the end of September depending on snow.
About 30 minutes in total.
$115 per adult
$ 65 per child
