Howling Huskys have a position available for the 2012 winter season on Saturdays and Sundays, starting June 9th 2012. This position is also snow dependant. Applicants must have own transport to Warrigul & Erica.
Applicants must be energetic, enthusiastic, be able to work in a team and under pressure. Most importantly must LOVE DOGS!

Job description:
Successful applicant will be alternating between Mount Baw Baw and Gumbuya Park on weekends and winter school holidays.
Duties include: Cleaning up after dogs, grooming, handling dogs, feeding dogs and customer service.
You will also be expected to work in extreme weather conditions including rain, heavy snow and below zero temperatures. Snow gear is not provided but will be needed.

Howling Husky Sled Dog Tours is a small Australian adventure business offering genuine sled dog adventures from April through to October. We offer sled dog tours at Mount Baw Baw alpine resort on weekends during the ski season. (Mount Baw Baw tours are subject to snow cover.) As of 2012 winter season we are excited to also be able to offer our wheeled tours at Gumbuya Park also on weekends, only 40 minutes from Melbourne. We also offer tours around Omeo Victoria on a wheeled cart. Omeo tours are conducted by booking only.
We specialize in introducing you to the basics of mushing and if desired, teaching you to run a team of very experienced snow dogs through the aussie high country!
We also run a rescue and rehoming program. Rescuing Alaskan Malamutes and Siberian Huskies from the pound and finding them great homes so the don't end up being put to sleep in the pound.
