About Us
Howling Husky Sled Dog tours is a family made up of mostly Siberian huskies although there are a few other breeds amongst us. most of the dogs we have are rescue or rehomed dogs, we bring them in to join our family and teach them to do what these breeds love to do.. run! the dogs used in the tours are all snow dogs. There are 12 Siberian Husky's and 1 Alaskan Malamute living and working with us so far.
I'm the Musher Jake I have been racing and running sled dogs for the past 5 years and giving tours in the snow for the past 2 years and my partner Danni and I have now decided to offer wheeled tours on dirt tracks for the cooler part of the year. Danni is new to the world of dog mushing but hopefully she will be out on the tracks having ago at racing next season!
So we invite you to come meet the entire family and learn all about the tradition of the sport of dog sledding. From how to set up a team to running them and everything in-between but most of all come and have some fun with us!
